Sunflower Galaxy (Messier 63)

A spiral galaxy in the constellation of Canes Venatici, 37 million light years away. It’s one of the most massive local galaxies in the local universe, around half as big again as our own. If you had a spaceship that could travel at the speed of light, how long would it take you to traverse its diameter? Around 132,000 light years.
