NGC2403

NGC2403 is an intermediate spiral galaxy, around 8 million light years away, in the constellation of Camelopardalis. This isn’t the most spectacular galaxy, but I was happy with the result here, as I learned how to integrate Ha data into an LRGB image using PixInsight. Those are the pinky red star forming regions you can see. The weather had been so cloudy for many months, it was a relief to complete this.

Total exposure: 14h 55m

Ha 23 x 300, Red 36 x 300, Green 38 x 300, Blue 37 x 300, Lum 45 x 300
